Who We Are
Cadillac Tim began selling used parts in 2002, specializing in the 1960s and 1970s Cadillacs. Soon thereafter we began rebuilding parts. As the years progressed, our rebuilding services became more popular and more in demand. Today, we rebuild many Cadillac only parts that are hard to find. Many of these parts we have in stock. We specialize in the 1960s and 1970s, but can work on some 1950s and 1980-90s as well.
Although we don't have cars on our premises we still have some used trim parts on hand.
We have provided parts and service to all 50 states and several other countries around the world, as all of our work is guaranteed.
We created these 1964-76 Comfort and Climate Control troubleshooting manuals to help both the owners and mechanics work on these systems since the shop manuals don't provide answers to the real world problems with these older systems. The shop manuals also require special tools which hardly anyone has access to.
These manuals are easy to understand, and require only a simple voltmeter and simple vacuum gauge to help diagnose these complex systems. Each manual is year specific (except for 1969-70 and 1972-73) so it is unique to your car, not trying to cover several years with different components.
The manuals first describe how the system works, how to test each part, and then how to troubleshoot the system. Vacuum and electrical schematics are included, as well as photos of components.
These manuals do not cover basic air conditioning and heater components like compressors, condensers, or heater cores, as these are the same as other GM cars of these years. The specific automatic temperature control components are what these manuals are dedicated to.
Since their inception in 2009 these manuals have become very popular with over 1,000 being sold to date.
